In repairing your vehicle, only SEAT genuine parts have been fitted in your vehicle, meaning that your SEAT remains a SEAT.

Rest assured, this repair guarantee is provided in addition to your statutory rights and nothing contained in this guarantee will affect your statutory rights.

To keep your vehicle in top condition after you’ve left [tradeaddress_company_name], remember to maintain it to the standards outlined in the Driver’s Handbook – a failure to do so may invalidate this guarantee. Any SEAT Approved Paint & Body Centre can give advice and offer products to help you do this. Should you have any questions or would like a paint and body health check on your vehicle, you may return to [tradeaddress_company_name] of [tradeaddress_address] at a time convenient to you. Please contact [tradeaddress_company_name] who will be happy to make arrangements for your visit.

If you sell your vehicle.


This guarantee is provided directly to you by [tradeaddress_company_name]. If you sell your vehicle, this guarantee is transferable to the new registered owner of your vehicle. It is up to you to transfer this guarantee by forwarding this email to the new registered owner of the vehicle and/or printing this guarantee in full (including the Terms and Conditions) and handing these to the new owner.

Who provides the guarantee?
This guarantee is provided to you by [tradeaddress_company_name] of [tradeaddress_address]. Only [tradeaddress_company_name] of [tradeaddress_address] is responsible for fulfilling the warranties set out above – this guarantee cannot be used at any other SEAT Approved Paint & Body Centre.
When does the guarantee apply?
This guarantee only applies to repair work carried out on your vehicle using SEAT genuine parts and SEAT approved methods and SEAT approved paint.
This guarantee only applies where the paintwork and bodywork of the vehicle have been maintained in accordance with the Driver’s Handbook. A failure to do so may invalidate the guarantee.
What to do if you have a claim.
In the event of a claim, or should a problem arise from the service you have received, please contact [tradeaddress_company_name] at the address set out in paragraph 1 above. Any defects found after a repair must be reported to [tradeaddress_company_name] as soon as is reasonably possible. Unless your vehicle is not roadworthy due to a defective part supplied by [tradeaddress_company_name], you will need to take your vehicle to [tradeaddress_company_name] of [tradeaddress_address] for assessment.
What is included in the guarantee?
The following items are covered under the guarantee provided by [tradeaddress_company_name] as of the following dates:
Workmanship: Workmanship carries a guarantee of 36 months from the date of the completion of the repairs. Where you have a valid claim against workmanship under this guarantee, rectification will be carried out by [tradeaddress_company_name].
Parts: Where genuine SEAT parts have been fitted using approved SEAT techniques, a guarantee of 24 months applies from the date of purchase of those parts by [tradeaddress_company_name]. A replacement part will be provided by [tradeaddress_company_name] where there are manufacturing defects affecting the quality of the part.
Paint: Where SEAT approved paints and techniques are used on your vehicle, a guarantee of 36 months applies from the date of the completion of the paintwork. Paintwork defects will be rectified by [tradeaddress_company_name].
What is excluded from the guarantee?
In addition to paragraph 2 above, damage caused by the following factors are excluded from the guarantee:
Accidents and collisions;
Bird lime and animal pollution;
Environmental and industrial pollution;
Climatic, thermal and chemical overexposure; and
Maintenance and care below the standards required in the Driver’s Handbook.
What to do if you lose the guarantee.
If you lose this guarantee, please contact [tradeaddress_company_name] for a replacement guarantee.
Who is [tradeaddress_company_name]?
[tradeaddress_company_name] is an independent business trading in its own right and has been approved by SEAT as a SEAT Approved Paint &Body Centre. Please note that SEAT does not provide this guarantee and [tradeaddress_company_name] is not acting as an agent for or on behalf of SEAT.
Changes to the SEAT Approved Paint & Body Centre
[tradeaddress_company_name] will honour the terms of this guarantee, even in the event that [tradeaddress_company_name] loses its status of a SEAT Approved Paint & Body Centre.
This guarantee is between you, the customer, and [tradeaddress_company_name]. In the event that [tradeaddress_company_name] is no longer trading, this guarantee will become invalid.
Your information.
The details of your repair will be held by [tradeaddress_company_name] for a period of 7 years. [tradeaddress_company_name] will also pass the details of your repair and this guarantee to SEAT for administration and marketing purposes where you the customer have permitted us to do so.
Law.
This guarantee is governed by English law and any disputes arising out of it are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
